FAQ

Frequently asked questions about our Brilliant Canvas Prints
What do you need to create a canvas print from my image?

We can create a canvas print from your digital photos, digital illustrations and just about anything else that you can see on your screen!

How long does my canvas print take to produce?

Our standard turnaround time is 3-4 working days upon confirmation.
If you require your print sooner, please contact us to see if it is possible. Additionally, if it's a bulk order, we will advise on the turnaround time accordingly :)

How long will my canvas print last?

Brilliant Prints canvas prints are rated to last between 75 and 200 years without any visible fading.
We use only the highest quality canvas, frames, ink, tape and laminate, ensuring that your print lasts as long as possible.

Can I pickup my print, or do you offer a courier service?

You can either pick up your finished print from our Genting Lane studio (Macpherson area).

Alternatively, we can ship your prints anywhere in Singapore for $23.
Our courier service is experienced in handling delivery of fragile products, and in the unlikely event that your print is damaged during transit then we will reprint and resend at our cost.

Can you print in Colour / Black and White / Sepia and Washed Colour?

Yes. You can supply us with a colour image and we can convert it to Black and White, Sepia or Washed Colour for no additional charge.
We use dedicated printers to create our black and white canvas prints.

This results in dense blacks, smooth tonal transitions and neutral prints.
We also operate specialised colour printers which allow us to create vibrant, punchy colour canvas prints.

Do you have set sizes?

Yes and no.
We do have a range of standard sizes available to fit the most common film / digital sizes.

However, we can also custom-make a frame to perfectly suit your image in any size (minimum width is 28cm/11")
There is no additional costs for this service (the price is worked out pro-rata).

How can I be sure that the colours I see on my screen will match the colours that appear on my print?

Brilliant Prints operates a fully colour managed workflow.
We regularly calibrate our monitors to international standards, and use custom-made print profiles to ensure the most accurate reproductions.

Printed materials match our screens and you are welcome to make an appointment to pop by our studio to view your images on our screens. You may also opt to purchase test prints first before proceeding with your final print if you'd like to ensure that the colours are to your satisfaction.
This ensures that you are 100% happy with your print.

How long has Brilliant Prints been creating fine quality canvas prints?

Brilliant Prints was established in Australia almost a decade ago.
During this time, we have created over 500,000 canvas prints for professional photographers, interior designers, retail clients and corporate clients such as Coca Cola, BHP Billiton and JCDeceaux.

We have expanded into Singapore, and are using exactly the same materials and processes to create quality canvas prints locally.

What formats do you accept for printing?

We can accept JPEG, TIFF, PSD or PDF files.
(Online ordering system will take only JPEG. If you have other formats, you may email us the image.)

We will check the quality of the image prior to printing.
If the resolution is not sufficient, we will contact you to discuss your options.
